Gods Kitchen began as the New Beginnings Baptist Church Soup
Kitchen with the Idea of hot soup For the needy people of this area.
September 1998
The name was changed to God’s Kitchen, and began to deliver lunch
to shut-ins three days a week. We added tutorial classes in reading and math for school children two days a week.August 2000
Work began on a new building To be used for community church activities.
February 2001
Gods Kitchen began feeding lunch five days a week. Hundreds of
Others are fed each week by bringing in surplus food.
August 2001
The church purchased a house behind the church, and began
using it for classrooms meetings and emergency housing.
